FREMOVER – a painting about looking ahead

All of my paintings are personal, but some hold an especially special place in my heart.
FREMOVER is one of them. 💙
The painting is inspired by the ocean and the light reflected on the water as the sun moves toward the horizon. There is something truly special about the moments just before sunset, when the sky begins to glow red. It has always fascinated me. A unique feeling of calm, hope, and new possibilities.
At the same time, the sea is not completely still.
In the foreground of the painting, there is more movement and unrest. A little like life itself.

The painting was completed in December 2019, after a year that was quite challenging for me personally. To me, it is about trying to lift your gaze and see the possibilities that lie ahead. And perhaps most importantly, having the courage to face major changes with curiosity rather than fear.
The original painting has been sold to a good friend of mine, but it is now available as a fine art print in several sizes—for those who feel a connection to it. 💙
P.S. Feel free to leave a comment below and tell me what you see in the painting. I always enjoy hearing how others experience my artwork. 💙
